2021 Margerum Grenache, Santa Barbara County, California (750ml)
A lip smacking and satisfying southern Rhone blend from Anne-Marie and Jean-Marie Astart. The blend varies from year to year, but is predominantly Grenache, and over 40% of that component comes from vines over 100 years old. The balance is Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan and Cinsault. Production is typically less than 600 cases.
