With three separate retail+wine bar locations and multiple Wine Club programs to source for our wine buying team stays busy, and every so often a wine comes along that stops us in our collective tracks. That is what happened here, with an Austrian Riesling that exemplifies crystalline, stone fruit purity and elegance.
The Geyerhof family history in wine goes back more than 850 years. This beauty comes from a single vineyard in the Kremstal - a "ried" in the local usage - known as Johannisberg. Unfortunately we were only able to acquire a few cases of this beauty, so if it appeals don't delay. Peter Granoff, MS
