2019 Vaughn Duffy Pinot Noir, Sonoma County, California (750ml)

From the producer: "The 2019 vintage will be remembered for ideal growing conditions through summer and into harvest with a moderate crop. After a bumper crop in 2018, yield returned to an average level and high fruit quality. We entered harvest season with a cooler that allowed us to pick vineyards at optimal ripeness and without incident.

This is our second vintage of Sonoma County Pinot Noir. Our goal for this wine is to showcase the diversity of the different AVAs within Sonoma County when they come together to make a single wine. This diversity creates a Pinot Noir of complexity and an opportunity to offer a Pinot bottling that provides high quality and value to the consumer. Our 2019 Sonoma County is a blend of three vineyards that span Sonoma County’s cooler wine-growing areas. The appellations that make up the blend are Russian River Valley (54%), Sonoma Coast (30%), and Sonoma Mountain (16%). The sites represent the different microclimates within Sonoma County and showcase the diversity of this unique growing region."
