We don't want to sound like a broken record because we feel like we say it all the time, but it's worth repeating, Talley Vineyards makes some of the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in California. Talley single vineyard estate wines have enormous capacity for aging 20-30+ years and continually stun critics and enthusiasts who get the opportunity to taste old vintages. And their "regular" estate Pinot Noir and Chardonnays are some of the best values around that should cost twice as much as they do.

Once again this 2021 Pinot Noir is another delicious wine that shows the classic Talley personality of clean, pure, focused fruit that is nicely compacted and dense without feeling intense, and with excellent balance and refined structure. Nicely pitched flavors of raspberry and even a little tart cranberry co-mingle with notes of minerals and wild herbs. Like all Talley wines, it is medium bodied and gentle with silky tannins on a lengthy and correct finish. It is a wonderful expression of the Talley terroir and a great reminder of what Central Coast Pinot Noir should be like.
