Ravignan Floc de Gascogne, Perquie, France (750ml)

The Floc de Gascogne is a regional apéritif from the Côtes de Gascogne and Armagnac regions of Sud-Ouest wine region of France. It is a vin de liqueur fortified with armagnac, the local brandy.

This sweet wine comes from a Gascony recipe of the 17th century. It is prepared every year in January after distillation by mixing the new grape musk with a third of Armagnac eau-de-vie. After being regulated and controlled with a seal of origin, it is marketed the following year. Le Floc is recommended to be served chilled, neat or as an accompaniment to sparkling water. Its floral flavors make it the perfect aperitif with fois gras or as a dessert wine on fruit.

We have tried mightily for 4 years at our 114 Channel Street location, and for 15 months now at Chase Center, to reach a level of sustainability, and to find additional working capital to keep the two locations afloat. Unfortunately we have not been successful in either endeavor.
