Sagamore Spirits Distiller's Select "Manhattan Finish" Rye Whiskey, Baltimore, Maryland (750ml)   

The next delicious bottling from the folks at Sagamore Spirits in Baltimore, MD. Owner, Kevin Plank- CEO of Under Armour, sources the ryes from MGP. They blend two of the Indiana distillery’s expressions, one higher-rye and one lower, to emulate the traditional Maryland style. All of Sagamore’s whiskeys are proofed with local limestone-rich spring water.

Producer notes ~ The Manhattan Finish rye is finished in 3 different barrels for 1year 9 months (after 4-5 years in oak) to create the perfect blend of flavors resembling everyone's favorite classic cocktail, the Manhattan. We aged our rye whiskey in vermouth barrels, cherry brandy barrels, and Fee Brother's Barrel Aged bitters barrels to draw out the notes of the classic cocktail. Our distilling and operations team then carefully blended the 3 different products, proofing it to 103 proof, to create this newest Sagamore Spirit Reserve rye. This rye is herbaceous, with notes of bright cherry, vanilla, honey, and a touch of dryness on the finish.
