More infoMezcal de Leyendas Ancho Guerrero, Sierra Madre Occidental, Mexico (750ml)
Don Oscar Obregón is a 4th generation mezcalero, and is famous for his attention to detail. He crafts his spirit in Sierra Madre Oriental using 100% agave cupreata. These take between 7 and 10 years to mature beside an oak forest. After the plants are sustainably harvested, they are meticulously cooked in an underground pit for 4 days, crushed in a mechanical mill, open-air fermented for 3 days, and double-distilled in copper-pot stills ― with the mezcalero watching over each detail at his fábrica. Bottled at 46.9%, this mezcal is full of character. Aroma: Cucumber, melon rind, tropical fruits. Flavors: Green plantain, papaya, black pepper.
More infoGolden Rule Spirits RTD Margarita, San Francisco, California (100ml Can)
From the producer: It was mid-July 1995 and a friend and I had just sat down at a makeshift table in the city center, Zócalo, of Oaxaca. The waiter stood in front of us with a handful of limes, an unlabeled bottle of tequila, and homemade triple sec. I'd had margaritas before but what he created, his take, the "Margarita Original," forever changed my understanding. Not too sweet the right amount of tart and that perfect flavor of distilled blue agave. I took the recipe home with me and after decades of success offering the "Margarita Original" to local customers I am finally able to share it with others

Producer notes ~ "The Tequila Ocho story begins with the Camarena family, who started making tequila in 1937 and are now in their third generation as tequila producers. This family is one of the few producers that still make tequila in the slow, artisanal way. With the Camarenas nothing is rushed or hurried during the whole process, from the growth of the agave to the final distillation.

More infoRey Campero 'Jabali' Mezcal, Candelaria Yegole, Mexico (750ml)
Rey Campero Jabali uses one of the more seldom-used agave, Jabali. The flavor of this mezcal has lots of tropical fruit and citrus. It is earthy with a hint of pepper. Its richly textured and the smoke frames the wild flavors of this special agave. Part of what makes the Jabali agave so seldom used in Mezcal is its history of expanding and foaming during the distillation process, which makes this a very high risk, high reward Mezcal.

More infoH by Hine Cognac VSOP, Fine Champagne, France (750ml)
Producer notes, written perhaps after imbibing a bit ;>) ~ "H by Hine is whimsical. If it were a young man, it would have the keen eye of Dick Diver in Fitzgerald’s Tender is the Night. Adventurous, lively and elegant, it is the ideal sidekick for daring cocktails and a flamboyant soloist when served neat with a dash of cold tonic. Expressive yet discreet, its notes of iris, fresh apricot, acacia and white pepper chime with its sprightly and joyful demeanour. Feels like Coachella in a bottle. H by Hine is a young cognac with a taste for adventure and originality. Serve frozen in a shot glass with sashimi. Or simply over ice with tonic, cider or ginger ale, garnished with a twist of lime, cucumber or rosemary. Add as a surprising twist to a punch when too many friends show up with very little time, or simply drizzle over a fresh peach salad. There’s only one rule: drink outside the box."
