Producer notes ~ "43% ABV / 86 Proof 64% Corn 15% Rye 21% Malted Barley We begin by fermenting a traditional sour mash of corn and rye at colder temperatures, but without the aid of refrigeration. Fermentation takes more time this way, but results in a softer whiskey and develops subtle flavors such as vanilla, pear, and raspberry. We then distill the mash in our small batch copper potstill on grain to extract fuller and rounder flavors from the corn and rye. Finally, we barrel the distillate at the Pre-Prohibition standard of 98 proof, so that the barrel may add subtle notes of oak and vanilla and does not overpower the finished whiskey."

In its over 100 years of history, Amaro Montenegro has seen its success grow continuously up to the present day, now being one of the leading brands on the Italian market."

This is a blend of 2, 3 and 4 year old Bourbon, finished no less than 3 months in wine barrels which previously held several vintages of Ammunition Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon. Sometimes there is nothing better than an Aperol spritz on a warm summer evening. Producer Notes ~ "Our Single Malt whisky comprises an equal proportion of peated and unpeated malt. The cask makeup is 65% ex bourbon barrels from Kentucky and 35% ex sherry casks, Oloroso and PX, from Jerez. A true reflection of our rugged Western Highland location, the whisky boasts notes of oyster shell, campfire embers, waxy peel, honeycomb, strawberries with black pepper and a lingering maritime finish. Bottled at 46.8% vol, unchill-filtered and naturally coloured.

Arette Reposado is distilled from 100% Blue Agave. It is aged for approximately 6 months in American white oak. Translating from their Spanish only web site, here are the highlights: Arette's distillery is in the heart of Jalisco, and is one of the oldest in the region. It is run today by brothers Jaime y Eduardo Orendain, descendents of multiple generations of Tequila distillers. The name honors Arete, the horse that General Humberto Mariles Cortés rode to a Gold in the Team Jumping event at the 1948 Summer Olympics games in London. ~ Peter Granoff

Producer notes ~ "Barrell Bourbon Batch 031 is a blend of 6, 7, 10, 15 and 16-year-old barrels. The blend was built around the sweetness in a group of 99% corn bourbon barrels and a group of wheated bourbon barrels. To bridge these two groupings, we layered in 15 and 16-year-old barrels for their gentle nuttiness and oak. Finally, a selection of 10-year-old barrels was added to bring notes of milk chocolate and tropical fruit. 2,371 bottles produced, 55.6% ABV"

Producer Notes ~ "When the sea air from the Mediterranean meets the mountain air from the Alps, high concentra­tions of essential oils give unique and extraordi­nary aromatic properties to the juniper, which is foraged in the Occitan Alpine Valleys of Italy. Since the last century, Bordiga has distilled the juniper handpicked in the Occitan valleys, to produce what can be called among the oldest Italian gin recipes: Gin Occitan, recently joined by premium, modern recipes born from Bordiga creativity and respectful of its tradition and quality. The production process of the juniper distillation is totally carried out in Bordiga."

From The Producer ~  This classic vermouth is based on Piedmontese white wines, roughly 1/3 Moscato, the remainder Trebbiano and Cortese. Twenty-five botanicals are used, many grown in the Occitan Alps near the distillery; the primary ones are wormwood, dittany, elderflower, cinchona bark, quassia, orange peel, angostura bark, wild thyme, gentiana acaulis, pepper, and pomegranate.

Producer Notes ~ "The Espadín agave, known as the genetic Mother of the Blue Weber Agave, is used to produce Tequila, and is also the predominant agave used in Mezcal production. Unique in itself, the characteristics of this agave showcase the aromas of wet earth, a rich smokiness on the mid-palate, and a finish reminiscent of wild flowers. This variety of agave is a subspecies of the Angustifolia Family of agave.Tobalá - A small agave varietal, the Tobalá, a subspecies of the Potatorum Family of agave, has broad, spade-like leaves. The compact size of this agave yields limited quantities of Mezcal and takes 12-15 years to reach full maturation. At this time, the plant sends up a flower-bearing spike that can be anywhere from 10 to 20 feet high. Known to many as the king agave, Tobalá can only grow from seed and is becoming increasingly rare. This agave offers intensely aromatic Mezal with complex notes of tropical fruit."

On the palate there is citrus peels, fruit, chamomile, mineral notes, and light honey.
