The cask proof version of our ever-popular Roundstone Rye is a very special expression. Released at approximately 58% ABV (it varies depending on the individual barrels), this is seriously strong whisky! Delicious, dark, complex and ridiculously smooth for the proof, Roundstone Rye Cask Proof is released only about twice per year. Catoctin is also one of the few whiskey distilleries co-owned & operated by a woman, Becky Harris.

Angel’s Envy Rye Finished in Rum Barrels is genuinely unique and worthy of Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson’s legacy. The taste profile of rye whiskey was a perfect fit for a rum cask finish. After sampling over 100 rums to find the right flavor to complement rye whiskey, the team’s decision was unanimous.

This Willett Family Estate Small Batch rye is matured for four years in hand selected White Oak barrels for four years. Bottled at a cask strength this powerful rye is deeply complex with a touch of sweetness followed by toasted notes.

Lagavulin is one of those classic Scottish single malts every true Whisky buff has to try. The story began in 1816 on the windy island of Islay, when John Jonston and Archibald Campbell first opened the distillery. They’re famous for their extra-long, “low and slow” distillation, which produces exceptionally smooth and flavorful Whisky. Lagavulin 8 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is aged for eight years in refill American oak casks. The whisky has an aroma of sea breeze, charcoal and citrus fruit, along with notes of old wood, breakfast tea, black currant and mint. The palate is distinctively Lagavulin, with complex smoke notes fading into cedar and ocean spray.

Balvenie 12 DoubleWood is one of those superbly balanced whiskies showcasing the balance between ex-Bourbon casks and Sherry casks in maturation. A sweet start to nose develops into vanilla and citrus from Bourbon cask and turns into dried fruits from the Sherry. Palate is well rounded with a good body, sweet tones and approachable spices. Dried fruits with winter spices creates lovely palate. A must buy for one to observe the craft of maturation and finish in different cask types.

On the nose, marmalade & sweet spices with sultanas. On the palate, pineapples & dark chocolate, followed by layers of Christmas cake, marmalade and sweet spices. A beautiful expression of aged whisky.

Notes from the Distillery ~ Our Master Distiller, Billy Walker, has been working tirelessly on this new expression since day one; evaluating casks and refining recipes to create something special. We’re proud to present the jewel in our crown; the GlenAllachie 15 years old. The GlenAllachie 15 Year Old is bottled at 46%, non chill filtered and natural color. On the nose, there's a beautiful bouquet of raisins, butterscotch & baking spices, with tropical fruits, orange peel & dark chocolate on the palate.

Founded in 1881 by James Ford, James Greenlees, and William Robertson, Bunnahabhain, which in Gaelic means "river mouth", has had many closures and re-openings over the years. It is now operated by Burn Stewart Distillers. Bunnahabhain whiskies are lightly peated, and have a lot of salty marine tones.

A tiny distillery in Perthshire is home to Edradour, one of Scotland's most endearingly different malts. Delicious honey notes complimented by an oily mouthfeel and a stylish finish. A truly handcrafted malt, Edradour is golden in the glass, with a delicious aroma of sugared almonds and a hint of olorosso.

Nose: Demerara sugar, dark chocolate, Christmas cake, almonds, toffee, oak. Palate: Creamy, raisins, dark chocolate, figs, marzipan, brazil nuts and vanilla. Finish: Oak and sherry notes sustain and mingle with hints of leather.

Glenfiddich 14 Year Old Bourbon Barrel Reserve is a great new release from the well known Speyside distillery Glenfiddich. This whisky spent 14 years in ex-Bourbon casks and finished in deeply charred new American oak from The Kelvin Cooperage in Louisville, Kentucky.
