Producer notes ~ "The ancient state of Stobcross was named after a historic cross which once marked the route to Dumbarton Rock. On this road, in the 1600s, the Anderson family built a fine mansion, Stobcross House, later going on to lay out the prosperous weaving village of Anderston. With time comes change, and in 1875, with the industrial rise of the River Clyde, Stobcross House was demolished to make way for the Queen’s Dock – once the beating heart of Glasgow’s global maritime trade and fame. Today in the Dock’s former Pumphouse, built-in 1877, that spirit of innovation continues with the combination of experience, passion, and skill to create The Clydeside Distillery’s first release, ‘Stobcross’ – a single malt, rooted in history. Time and tide might have changed the Clyde, but the city’s spirit of innovation and creation still burns bright. TASTING NOTES Nose: floral notes, fresh sweetness with tropical tones Palate: orchard fruits and hints of white pepper."

Cocchi Dopo Teatro Vermouth Amaro, Torino, Italy (500ml)
Cocchi Dopo Teatro Vermouth Amaro is based on the styles of vermouth traditionally drunk in Turin’s cafes after visitors had been to the theatre, hence “Dopo Teatro”. The perfect blend of Amari & red vermouth! In the history of vermouth there are four principal production regions, each with its own distinctive style and varieties. Two of these regions are protected designations of origin: Vermouth di Torino and Vermouth de Chambéry, with a third, Vermut de Reus, awaiting formal recognition.

More infoDoc Swinson's "Alter Ego" Straight Rye in Rum Casks, Washington (750ml)
Producer Notes ~ "Our Solera Aged Rum finished rye whiskey started as an experimental project when we found ourselves with an excess of 5+ year rums from Trinidad, Venezuela, and Jamaica alongside a number of recently dumped bourbon casks a few years ago. After dumping the aged rum we decided to employ the Solera aging method, a technique for blending and aging from the old world to create a rum cask rye whiskey. Back then there were only one or two rum cask finished rye whiskies in the mainstream market, so it was natural for us to add to this underappreciated category. Spicy rye and fruity rums are a natural complement — think Caribbean spice cake.

More infoHakata 10yr Sherry Cask Japanese Whisky, Fukuoka, Japan (750ml)
Producer notes - "Hakata Whisky is distilled and matured in Fukuoka, Japan by the Hikari Distillery (which was founded in 1912). The mash of the whisky is 100% barley. A fraction of this barley has been fermented with Koji providing healthy enzymes for fermentation and creating the highly sought after and delicious, savory taste known as Umami. The Sherry casks this whisky is aged in are kept in traditional style warehouses as well as a few open-air warehouses where they are exposed to humid summertime temperatures of 95 °F and winter temperatures of around 38 °F. As a result, the whisky is bold and almost classical in flavor; retaining a freshness that is truly unique. Hakata appeals to the most discerning whisky drinker as well as the casual enthusiast. The Sherry casks play a dominant role in this spirit, where Oak & Umami glosses over the palate and hugs the sides of the tongue. We invite you to join us on this journey and enjoy a flavor that is both new and timeless.
