2019 Domaine Drouhin Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills, Oregon (750ml)

This lovely Pinot Noir was aged for over a year in 20% new and 80% neutral French oak barrels giving the wine its signature restraint and overall finesse. We always know we will have a great, elegantly composed Pinot Noir from Veronique and love hearing her thoughts about each vintage.

Here is what she has to say about this beauty, "our 2015 Pinot Noir Dundee Hills is a delightful wine, with a generous nose filled with ripe red fruits, crushed berries and spice. Its color is deep and concentrated. Ripe, with incredible structure, the palate is both opulent and restrained. The tannins are very well integrated already, giving this cuvée superb balance and a fine, vibrant character with excellent length. While youthful now, this wine will age well for years, revealing even more elegance and depth." Veronique Drouhin, one of the most impressive women in the wine business with a wonderful amount of humility given her family's celebrated history, continues to craft elegant and balanced wines from her family's Domaine Drouhin Oregon Willamette Valley estate vineyards in Dundee Hills. She deftly directs the winemaking duties at this beautiful sustainably farmed L.I.V.E. certified 225-acre estate, as well as for the Drouhin family's domaine properties in France.
