Teroldego is considered the king of Trentino wines in North East Italy; it flourishes in the Piana Rotaliana area. Elisabetta Foradori took over her family estate in 1985. Elisabetta has garnered quite a reputation as one of the premier producers of Teroldego, which has greatly helped expand the interest in this indigenous varietal. Here, the vines are farmed organically and biodynamically. This wine comes from Elisabetta Foradori’s hard work which has resulted in a deeply colored, medium-full body red wine. It sports an intense nose of plum and black cherry, along with tar, raspberry and cranberry, and follows on the palate with a mouthful of dark berry fruit and a bit of grip. Sausages on the grill?
