Producer notes - "Woop Woop, a much-uttered knockabout colloquialism, refers to somewhere in the middle of nowhere.Woop Woop is quintessentially Australian for “out there” or “boondocks”. Woop Woop was created to bring excellent, quaffable, delicious, and inexpensive South Australian wine to the US Market. With minimal oak treatment, the Woop Woop lineup of Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Shiraz showcase their varietal representation with Aussie terroir being a focal point.

All made in a light-to-medium bodied style, these wines are perfectly suited to year-round consumption. Shiraz grapes from various South Australian wine regions were harvested at peak maturity, gently crushed, de-stemmed and fermented in small batches to maximise the extraction of colour, aroma and flavour. At the conclusion of fermentation the wines were pressed, with the pressing combined to add structure and ripe tannin length. A percentage of the wine was matured in American oak hogsheads, enhancing the typcial black pepper spice and providing extra length to the ripe juicy palate.Well suited to immediate enjoyment with red meat dishes, mature cheeses and campfires."
