A blend of aged rums from Guyana and Barbados, which are shipped to Williams & Humbert in Spain. The rums are then blended and aged for a further five years in ex-sherry casks (three years in Palo Cortado and two in Pedro Ximenez). The newest single pot still whiskey from the folks at Teeling. Teeling is, of course, the first distillery to operate in Dublin in over a century when it opened in 2015. Its core range consists of a few different sourced whiskeys, but the latest release was distilled onsite. The mash bill is half malted and half unmalted barley, and it was matured in ex-wine, ex-bourbon, and virgin oak barrels for a minimum of three years.More info
The Tyrconnell is double distilled, unlike the majority of Irish Whiksy's that are triple distilled. Their most recent foray into cask ageing is this sku, a 16-year-old single malt finished in Oloroso and Moscatel casks. The whiskey was matured for 16 years in ex-bourbon barrels before spending an undisclosed amount of time in wine casks from the Andalucía region of Spain. These casks were double seasoned, first with Oloroso sherry and then with Moscatel wine. The resulting whiskey is bright and vibrant, with floral, vanilla, raisin, and unsweetened dark chocolate notes on the palate.More info

Hombo Shuzo, the company behind Mars Distillery, produces many kinds of alcoholic beverages at various places in Japan. On October 1, Mars Whisky released the Single Malt Komagatake Limited Edition 2018. Suntory may have failed to release the Yamazaki Limited Edition 2018, so here's Mars Whisky to wear those pants instead. Limited to 10,000 bottles, it's at 48% abv. Single Malt Komagatake Limited Edition 2018 is a blend of "nicely aged" whiskies that have spent at least 3 years in either a Bourbon cask or an American White Oak cask. Notes of toasted banana, pear, and apricot on the nose. Medium peat. Thick & viscous on the tongue, it heats up towards the end with some nice vanilla cookies. A very refined peaty, finish with light pepermint.More info
Hand bottled on the WhistlePig Farm, in commemoration of the WhistlePig rye harvest and inaugural Vermont floor malting, this 18-year-old WhistlePig is the oldest release of WhistlePig to date.The folks at WhistlePig selected a whiskey distilled from 79% rye, 15% malted rye, and 6% malted barley. These grains form a harmony that spans the flavor spectrum, at once soft and floral, rich and savory, and full of spice. It is hand bottled at the WhistlePig farm, and the decanters are topped with a hand pressed glass stopper. Each stopper is pressed by a 19th century glass pressing machine, one of the last of its kind, and custom made by Burlington, Vermont-based AO Glass.More info
Founded in 1826 the distillery burned down twice in 1879 & 1898 and has sat in its current location since. Surround by the dramatic Highland scenery of Ben Rinnes, the village of Aberlour sits in the heart of Speyside, where the Lour burn joins the River Spey and this fantastic whiskey is created. The 16yr is aged in bourbon and sherry casks. A toasty nose with aromas of hazelnut, toffee and sugar cookies. Spicy palate with plenty of cinnamon, nutmeg, toasted oats and vanilla accents. Kilchoman U.S. Small Batch Limited Edition is their special America-only Small Batch vatting that unites Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry matured Whisky with a cherry-picked Port hogshead. 70% Bourbon, 25% Port, 5% Oloroso, to be exact. The very limited experiment (only 1,260 bottles exist) offers layers of smooth flavors with a lot of peaty smoke, citrus and sea spray.More info

The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 year old single malt whisky has been matured in traditional oak whisky casks for 14 years, and then ‘finished’ in casks that previously held Caribbean rum. Nose is rich, sweet and creamy toffee on the nose combines with fresh fruit notes. Palate is a big and rounded one with vanilla and sweet oak notes, with a fruity character that develops with time.More info
