A Seasonal Rosé Wine Club Selection
100% Grenache, this rosé made in the traditional way. The grapes were picked in the early morning hours and were processed while they were still extremely cool, going through a sorting on the conveyor before being pumped through a must pump and left on the skins for 45 minutes to extract a little color before being pressed. The Rosé lived in stainless steel from start to finish only going through primary fermentation, and skipping secondary fermentation to ensure the crisp acidity and brilliant clarity.

About the Icons
A Seasonal Rosé Club Selection
Founded by Camillo Zulli and six other growers in 1964, Cantina Orsogna has grown to a cooperative of more than 600 farmers (over 450 winegrowers and 150 olive growers). All working to achieve a greater level of integration and sustainability between themselves, the terroir—and nature itself—through organic and biodynamic farming. The coop is located in the Majella National Park, one of the largest and most diverse parks in all of Italy. The presence of distinct flora and fauna right next to the vineyards allows for rich biodiversity and quality soil. Biodynamic farming and winemaking are about reciprocity with the earth’s ecosystems and protecting the interconnectedness of living organisms in each unique community, with biodynamic calendars having been developed to indicate the optimal times for sowing, cultivating and harvesting.
N.V. Billecart-Salmon Brut Rose Champagne, France (750ml)
The classic Rosé. Champagne that got everybody excited about Rosé. Champagne in the first place! An elegant cuvee made up of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and still Pinot Noir red wine, it has substance, stature and considerable breed. Billecart has reached a level of worldwide demand with the likes of Cristal and Dom Perignon, most notably with this Brut Rosé.
N.V. Bollinger Brut Special Cuvee, Champagne, France (750ml)
One of the most widely known and appreciated Champagnes in the world and always consistently delicious. Bollinger owns 164 hectares of vineyards in Grand and Premier Cru villages in the Vallée de la Marne, mostly planted to Pinot Noir with smaller quantities of Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, but they are technically not an RM as they also buy in fruit from other growers.
N.V. Krug Grande Cuvee Brut Champagne, France (375ml)
About the Icons
The thing about Champagne is that a celebration just isn't the same without it…and there is no higher form of celebratory wine than Krug. While many of the huge Champagne houses have their most special cuvée (think Dom Perignon, or La Grande Dame), most of those producers spend more time cranking out oceans of predictable and sometimes boring bubbles. At Krug all they do is make special cuvées, and there is never much of any of them. Krug doesn't have big brands that show up for bargain prices at the grocery store. It hasn't turned up in any rap videos, but it doesn't need to; Krug is the best of the best. Period. - Peter Granoff
N.V. Ruinart Brut Rose Champagne, France (375ml)
About the Icons
Ruinart is the oldest house in Champagne, exclusively producing Champagne since 1729. As they proclaim, "Chardonnay is the very soul of Ruinart" and their beautiful Blanc de Blancs is their most coveted wine. However, they also make a lovely rose which just happens to be 45% Chardonnay and 55% Pinot Noir (including 19% still red Pinot) from their vineyards in Montagne de Reims and Vallee de la Marne.
NV Leitz Eins Zwei Zero Riesling Alcohol Free, Germany (750ml)
About the Icons
Eins Zwei Zero Riesling is an alcohol-free version of the original wine: it’s grown, harvested, and fermented before undergoing delicate vacuum distillation to remove alcohol and preserve classic wine-like characteristics. A bit of residual sugar carries the flavor, yet the acidity offsets the sweetness and makes for a refreshing, clean white.

NV-C Barone Pizzini "Animante" Franciacorta DOCG, Lombardia, Italy (750ml)
About the Icons
A Quarterly Sparkling Wine Club Selection
Barone Pizzini was founded in 1870 by the noble family of the same name. It is one of the oldest wineries in Franciacorta and the first organic Franciacorta grower and producer! The winery is a keen proponent of biodiversity, developing farming models that have kept them at the forefront of mindful land stewardship in the region. At its core, Barone Pizzini puts the land first. Silvano Brescianini, Managing Partner, took over winemaking responsibilities in 1994, aimed at crafting low intervention wines, “defined less by artifice and more by location”.
