Tequila Ocho Anejo, Mexico (750ml)

2021 Agave Harvest, La Ladera Single Estate. Producer Notes ~ "The Tequila Ocho story begins with the Camarena family, who started making tequila in 1937 and are now in their third generation as tequila producers. This family is one of the few producers that still make tequila in the slow, artisanal way. With the Camarenas nothing is rushed or hurried during the whole process, from the growth of the agave to the final distillation. Tequila Ocho is a joint partnership between the Camarenas and Tomas Estes. Estes, the creator and owner of Mexican bars and restaurants since 1976 is a higly respected personality in the bar and spirits world.

Tequila Ocho was created to explore and prove the concept of ‘terroir’ in tequila. Ocho only produces batches of tequila from single fields (ranchos) for each vintage. Each tequila vintage from Ocho is a taste of time and place. The vintage year and field name are printed on every label. Each estate, or ‘rancho,’ produces a limited amount of agave making each vintage of Ocho both rare and collectible due to the nuances between each harvest. This bottling of Añejo was produced from the 2021 Agave harvest at La Ladera, one of Tequila Ocho's single estates.
