2020 Ridge "Geyserville" Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, California (750ml)   

This 2018 version of Ridge's old vine Zinfandel blend from the Geyserville Vineyard in Alexander Valley is a blend of 68% Zinfandel, 20% Carignane, 10% Petite Sirah, 2% Alicante Bouschet. It was aged for 13 months in 100% air-dried (as Ridge specifies) American oak barrels, 11% new, 42% one and two year, 47% three and four year. Deep Ruby in color showing dark berry, spice and a slightly herbal undertone. In other words, a classic, tasty Ridge wine that will appeal to any and all Zin fans or those who appreciate a well made, full-bodied delicious wine!
