In the Moonsaill Fizz, passion fruit and bright citrus are tempered by smooth vanilla and spice. Made with a base of Bimini Gin, handcrafted in a small distillery in Biddeford, Maine, and inspired by summers on the coast, specially distilled for a softer juniper flavor. A modern American gin featuring a few familiar key botanicals— grapefruit zest, hops, coriander seed—that taste bright and citrusy with a beautiful floral aroma."

Producer Notes ~ "Our Solera Aged Rum finished rye whiskey started as an experimental project when we found ourselves with an excess of 5+ year rums from Trinidad, Venezuela, and Jamaica alongside a number of recently dumped bourbon casks a few years ago. After dumping the aged rum we decided to employ the Solera aging method, a technique for blending and aging from the old world to create a rum cask rye whiskey. Back then there were only one or two rum cask finished rye whiskies in the mainstream market, so it was natural for us to add to this underappreciated category. Spicy rye and fruity rums are a natural complement — think Caribbean spice cake.

In a way, this bottling could be considered Fortaleza's Tete de Cuvée, much like many Champagne producers have a flagship, such as the Grande Dame bottling from Veuve Clicquot. Each year, the head distillers and blenders at Fortaleza hand produce a small passion project that features the best of their ability. This year they have decided to create a blend of their flagship Reposado Tequila that has been finished in French oak ex-Oloroso sherry barrels, ex-Hungarian Tokaji wine barrels, or American Ex-bourbon barrels. Producer notes ~ "Kamiki, meaning God’s Breath in Japanese, was born at the Omiwa Shrine at the foot of Mount Niwa in Japan. Here, alcohol created by the local spirit producers is served as a blessing. Kamiki was created to further this tradition by taking a range of some of the finest whiskies from Japan and blending them with the best whiskies from overseas before maturing in a range of peculiar wood types. The results are smooth, intricate and intriguing expressions that differ from the norm and deliver a truly unique tasting experience. This new expression was finished in Japanese Cedar wood, just like the two before it, before being transferred to casks made from the famous Sakura tree for further finishing. The Sakura tree is hugely famous in Japan. It symbolises the beginning of Spring and is intrinsically connected to “mono no aware”, a Japanese term for the awareness of impermanence, or in other words – mortality."
